Proxyma-B Quintet, 2025/26 Fellowship Artist Ensemble
Proxyma-B Quintet had its beginnings at the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver. The ensemble performs a wide range of music genres from early Romantic Era to contemporary works—including collaborations with composers Remi Inari and Abdo Timejardine-Zomeño. In the 2024-25 concert season, Proxyma-B was awarded one of the top two prizes in the Lamont Chamber Honors Competition, and subsequently earned a position as Fellowship Artists for the 2025-26 concert season with COmpass REsonance. As representatives of CoRe, the quintet will present in schools and other public venues, performing and teaching younger students. They will also work with CoRe artists in various capacities including musicological scholarship and non-profit management.
