We've served the community for 45 years as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. In 2024 we transitioned to COmpass REsonance as the primary name and created a new, more inclusive mission statement. Your donations support artist fees and production costs for COmpass REsonance, including performances of ancient and new music, recording, touring, education and outreach. You may designate an area for your gift if desired, including contribution to our endowment, contribution to our recording fund, 2026-2027 artist fees/expenses/operations/production, 2027-2028 artist fees/expenses/operations/production, and/or 2028 international touring. 

In 2025 COmpass REsonance began an endowment that currently holds $2M in savings and investments. Our goal is to build the endowment to $5M. Doing so will ensure that in most years a substantial portion of the costs will be covered by endowment revenues, without diminishing the principal. We will continue to rely on grants, annual individual contributions, and ticket revenue. However, by building the endowment we will be able to secure CORE’s presence and activities, increase artist fees, rehearsal time, and A/V recording. CORE has been invited to tour in 2028 and more information is forthcoming about that project.

A message from Zachary and Mina - Art music offers esthetic experience and vast spiritual dimensions, music that inspires self-reflection and greater awareness. Presenting this quality of music, educational presentations, and community-engaging events is never financially profitable. Your support year after year is what permits us to thrive as a unique ensemble, a conductorless chamber orchestra with strong roots in the Baroque while exploring music across time and cultures deeply.
