Asher wulfman

Violinist Asher Wulfman is Visiting Assistant Professor of Violin and Viola at Ithaca College, and Visiting Lecturer of Violin at Cornell University. Based in Ithaca, NY, Asher is a member of the Syracuse Orchestra and Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, and performs solo recitals and chamber music concerts around New York State and beyond. Asher has performed as a soloist with the Livingston Symphony Orchestra and Oberlin Sinfonietta, and appeared at music festivals including Loon Lake Live, Skaneateles Festival, Cornell Mayfest, Spoleto Festival, Yellow Barn Music Festival YAP, Round Top Festival Institute, and Methow Valley Chamber Music Festival. Asher has premiered works by countless composers including Seare Farhat, Rhiannon Giddens, and Uri Kochavi. Asher holds a masters degree in Violin Performance from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, where he was a Colburn Early Music Scholar, and bachelors degrees in violin performance and English literature from Oberlin College and Conservatory.
